Would you know how to react if something unexpected happened underwater? The PADI RESCUE rescue course is one of the most beneficial courses. That is, you learn a lot while having a great time. Like all previous PADI courses you must complete the theory part and the practical dives.
Two modalities of Theory:
PADI Open Water with E-learning:
You can do the PADI E-learning theory online and complete it from the comfort of your home in a very easy way. This way you will have more free time to enjoy your vacation. In addition, you can access your course from the PADI app that works on all Android and Apple devices.
Once you have made your reservation we will send you a personal verification code and instructions. This way you can start studying in advance at home, during the trip to Alicante, Santa Pola, Torrevieja, on the beach or wherever you want. This alternative eliminates much of the classroom time.
PADI Open Water with manual:
Secondly, the PADI course with manual. You must pick up the PADI Rescue Diver book at our dive center in Santa Pola (Alicante). Then, complete the knowledge reviews before before the theory class.
Practical part of the course:
In summary, you will learn self-rescue techniques, stress management, observation and error prevention and how to help or rescue someone. This PADI Rescue Diver course will greatly improve your confidence both in and out of the water. In addition, you will greatly improve your diving techniques in the process.
The exercises to be performed will be self-rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, handling emergency equipment, rescue of panicked diver and rescue of unconscious diver both on the surface and underwater. You will practice rescue scenarios in confined water and then in situations as realistic as possible in open water. You can complete the PADI Rescue Diver course in as little as 2 or 3 days!
First aid course (EFR):
To complete the PADI Rescue Diver course you will need a current First Aid/CPR and Primary Care certification. Otherwise you can take the Emergency First Responder (EFR) course with us before starting the rescue course. The duration of the first aid course is 1 day.
